Eye to eye with the ibex! At 1800 meters above sea level, in the mountain village of Pontresina, the glaciers, the Alps and their animal inhabitants are very close.

At the foot of Piz Bernina, Pontresina Youth Hostel welcomes cross-country skiers and mountain bikers and all other sun worshippers! Especially for sporty vacation guests, there is a cross-country skiing school with store (incl. rental) directly in the youth hostel and, in summer, a trendy bike store with rental and repair service. Furthermore, we are an ideal starting point for high mountain tours and glacier hikes. But also families and recreational travelers will experience their mountain wonder here, for example during a panoramic ride on the Bernina Express, a side trip to the Alp Languard or the Diavolezza, or then during a village walk past the typical Engadine houses with sgrafitti.
