Bern Youth Hostel is worthy of the capital. Since April 2018, the hostel, which is a listed building with a view of the Aare loop, has also boasted a bright extension with seminar rooms and a garden seating area. As before, you'll be able to plan activities at the lunch table or under the trees: Among the choices are a visit to the Federal Palace with its 26 water fountains, the Bear Park, the Paul Klee Center, the Einstein House or the arcades in the historic Old Town. And don't miss the pleasure of swimming in the Aare or biking on the Gurten!
